1. Wildlife data is provided by Fairfax County Protection Police. Shelter staff does not handle wildlife.
2. Of the 265 animals euthanized in 2021, 192 were either veterinarian recommended end of life, quality of life, relief from suffering, or owner requested end of life where our veterinarian concurred or the animal was obviously suffering without option for recovery.
