Other miscellaneous explanatory notes:

Second Chance Animal Rescue of Mount Vernon, Inc. was founded and operated by Ed Marits until mid-2021. Mr. Marits had serious health problems and asked me to take over as director, which I did in June, 2021; however, he did not completely give up his involvement with the rescue group until the end of 2021. At that point, I found out that he had not kept records and I had no way of filling out the custody report for 2021. I called and spoke to someone in Veterinary Services and she told me since records were unavailable to just skip reporting for 2021 and to start new in 2022.

As of March, 2022, I changed the name of Second Chance Animal Rescue, Inc. to Mount Vernon Animal Rescue, Inc. The State Corporation Commission website shows this as the current name and Second Chance as the former name.
