We euthanized one dying cleft palate puppy and one senior dog that was suffering from late-stage cancer.
One adult dog died during surgery.
All other dogs that died in our custody this year were neonate puppies that were less than a week old and died due to failure to thrive or congenital defects (cleft palate).
